Abstract

`We will rock you ' is a jukebox musical written by Ben Elton , famous comedian and play

writer , music is composed by the band `Queen ' and was first performed at the Dominion

Theatre 's West End on May 14 , 2002 . Initially the show was slightly panned by critics

but soon it became audience 's favorite

and one of the longest running show in the same

venue . This musical has been performed in various international productions and in many

countries as well making the band a great success . Winning various awards and being

nominated for numerous , `We will rock you ' has simply become a magical rock show

among the audience . The Queen 's band has shown great musicianship throughout the

show and has successfully relived the rock culture
