Vulnerability
Job was very prosperous and a good man as well . He had seven sons and three daughters . He habitually offered sacrifices to God as pardon for their sins . But then , Satan firmly insisted to God that Job was only faithful because of the blessings and pleasures in life that he continously received . Now , God allowed Satan to destroy Job 's weath and earthly possessions . Satan was permitted to take away everything except Job 's life . In this manner , Satan destroyed all of his properties and took away his family . But Job still did

not curse God . He endured all the nasty disasters without anger and guilt
Satan was permitted to afflict Job 's health by giving him dreadful boils . Job can 't sleep day and night because of the scrapes on his skin and excrutiating pain . Despite of the suffering , he did not invoked evil words to God but rather seeked an explanation on why he experienced this misery . Having secured his vulnerability from the hands of the God with a strong faith , his destiny was sealed . He found peace in the midst of pain and suffering because of his faith in God and desire to glorify him not only in good times but also in the moments of great misery
