Because of readily available technologies in the market today that permit us to communicate with other people , our lives became more convenient and easier than ever before . Through the use of communication technologies such as cellular phone , internet , telephone , e-mail , among many others , virtual communication is gradually replacing traditional communication , thus making people , groups and societies

Before when high-end communication technologies were still undiscovered people 's way of making contact with each other was through traditional communication or face-to-face dialogue or personal discussion . About fifty years ago , people from far away places communicated either through telephone , telegraph or via mail . During that time , the best way to get contact or communicate with another person or loved one is through face-to-face or personal communication . But with the discovery of new communication technologies like mobile phones and Internet , people 's lives have changed forever , as these communication gadgets allow their users to have a virtual communication with each other .
