A First Person Review of Nguyen Cong Hoan 's account , a Student and a Public Movement Activist from South Vietnam

I have chosen to review Nguyen Cong Hoan 's story . My overall thesis contains `Hoan was never a communist of anti-communist , he was just striving to prosperity of his nation , and his experience caused him believe that such a struggle is never in vain . I go into his dissatisfaction with Diem and the similar treatment they had during the French occupation and then will talk about his experiences in the Assembly after

the unification . He eventually discovered that both sides use similar tactics to achieve their goals reeducation , denouncement Now he had a negative view of Diem mainly because of his treatment of Buddhists , and a negative view of Viet Cong due to their discriminative policies based on political beliefs

Let me start with the reasons that inspired Hoan to play the role he played . He was never a faithful socialist or communist , in fact , he was never deeply interested in political theory . Political theory is probably a kind of thing which is hard to understand for a former peasant . Hoan 's highest achievement , of which he is very proud , was his university education , and his dream was to improve the life of his people with science and education .
