Victims
Running head : Victims Name University Course Tutor Date On behalf of our training coordinator let me take this opportunity to give a presentation on the demographic differences in the most common victims of violet , property and non-violent crime . Victimization normally occurs in a number of setups such as in the work place , school homes where you have come from and even during leisure times . But today I will base my discussion or presentation on the place of work According to my finding or thought I will briefly dwell

on the differences on the number of those victimized in specific areas .These differences on victimization may come due to a number of factors such as sex or gender , race , income inequality and age
To start with is victimization involving property . Normally property victimization differs according to the nature of the property that is whether the property is new or old . When the property is new it is of high risk of being victimized . For example , we can talk of old and new car . In most cases new cars have high risks of being exposed to theft as compared to old ones . It is the human nature to like or admire new things and I am sure that nobody would become very happy with outdated machines . One important thing to note here is that females owning new properties are also at risk since they cannot engage in a fight as compared to males . Therefore we can greatly sum it up that property victimization is greater in females than in males and it is also high with new goods (Gideon , 2003 , p47
Demographic differences is violent discrimination have also shown that females are more likely to be victimized by people whom they know and familiar to them while male counterparts are likely to be victimized by strangers . Women separated from their husbands are prone to violent victimization as compared to men . Females in the younger age groups also face victimization than the old ones . Again we have found that females tend to suffer from rapes and sexual assaults by someone known to them than they could be raped by strangers
I would not be wrong to say that in social context sex and gender are the major factors shaping interactions and relations within a community If sex is composed of youths who are thugs then the society automatically will turn to a gang society as both girls and boys will imitate the behaviours . Therefore when I talk of violent victimization Iam basically referring to sex composition in a given society . For example the number of males who are found to be involved in violent victimization are the boys between eighteen years and forty years . They are regarded as gangs or thieves especially when they run away form their homes and go public to steal . So men are highly faced by violet victimization
Again violent victimization is also high among the adolescents with aggressive behaviour . The pattern of risk behaviour also differs among the...
