The Validity and Reliability in both Qualitative and Quantitative Research (insert name (insert course title (insert date

Validity and reliability are often time correlated with each other in many aspects of social science research . When we conduct a research , we focus not just on the study but also on how we would make it valid and reliable . In certain instances , there are several ways by which we could address the validity and reliability of our research be it qualitative

or quantitative research

In quantitative research , the reliability has been identified by threes . First is that the stability of the measurement is the same along any process of repetition . For example , we have studied that a person who is stressed out could sleep at most thirty hours it means that , no matter how many times we repeat the study , we would get the same and the same answer . Another one is the any kind of measurement will arrive at the same answer of the study . For example , we studied the mortality rate of our state in a day . No matter what kind and level of measurement we will use , we will still arrive at our final answer which are all , if not exactly , almost the same . Lastly , for reliability , is the similarity of the gathered data during the same period of time . For example , you are all tasks in the class to do the same research study , at the end f your research , all of you must similar of results , by which in that case , we could say that all your work are reliable

In terms of validity , several ways of expressing are also indicated One is the objectivity of the study . For example , while conducting a quantitative research , in getting measurements from the respondents or any subject matter in the case , one must be objective in data gathering One could be objective if he would not allow any personal bias on the research that he is conducting . Another one is the facts , that is , all the data input in the research should be all based in facts . For example , a research on the behavior of eating of the woman is being conducted all the data and results in the research should be all real information and not just rumors or wide guess . In to prove the reality or the factualness of the study , there should be evidence and that is another one way to address validity . For example , after the citation of all your sources , all s that have been used in the study should be well documented for evidences and validity testing purposes Those compiled facts that were all used in the study will be served as basis of the information that the researcher inputted into the study

Meanwhile , after dealing with the quantitative research , we will be dealing with qualitative research . In this case , reliability could also address in different ways . First is by credibility...
