There has been heated debate in all levels regarding whether or not we should take advantage of the Universal

Heath Program which has been applied in various modern nations in the world . The issue is also interesting to discuss considering the unique fact that United States is the only wealthy and developed country in the world that have chosen not to use the Universal Health Care program so far
In this , we are making a short discussion regarding the facts within the discussions . Although most of these discussions are concluded in favor of the Universal Health Care program , I believe that there are several factors we should examine more diligently to discover why we reject the program in the first place . This will discuss the positive and also negative effects of applying the Universal Health Care in United States and make the case that what is suitable in foreign countries might not be as suitable for our homes

Universal Health Care program is a health care system which is designed to cover all residents of a governmental region . There is no fix design of the program because it varies from one nation to the other according to preferences and the conditions of the society . The most well known design however , is to finance health care expenditure by means of payments made by each person within the society , whether from taxation or by intermediary of employers . One way or the other however , the Universal Health Care program require the help of the government to enact legislation to mandate the payment that will be use to cover national health expenditure . Management of the funds also varies between countries , whether they trust the whole setting to the government or used a mixed government-private management committee . The first of this program was actually performed in United Kingdom starting 1948

The most important questions regarding the Universal Health Care program are obviously related to the way countries finance this program . As mentioned , there are various methods of financing the program the point is that the money comes from the society themselves . In Germany , the universal health payment system is comprised of several funding models like taxation , private insurance , etc . In Canada on the other hand , they use a single funding model as their payment system . Most Universal Health Care programs are combination of these funding models
