Unions represent the workers to ensure they are not oppressed . They are usually in the forefront to end forced labor and poor working conditions . They are important because they assist in the formation of labor laws which protect the workers against rude and overworking employers . In the US , the unions are on the increase mainly because they provide benefit to workers by fighting for better pay and good

working conditions especially in industries where the workers need protective clothing while dealing with machinery and chemicals

Unions in the US are recording an increase in the number of members They ensure that the workers rights are recognized and help in the formation of labor laws . In this paper , we state the role of unions and the part they play in the US . They are legally recognized as representatives of workers in industries , public sectors like teachers and police . They were developed in the 19th century and their main aim was to ensure that the workers are paid well and have good working conditions .
