The increase in the unemployment levels has been caused by the recession that is being experienced in the state and all over the world . The output gap in the manufacturing sectors has also led to the increase in the levels . The unemployment rate is usually defined as a percentage of the unemployed workers in the labor force Unemployment is a seen as a necessary evil as it is able to control the rate of inflation but it has several negative consequences that outweigh its good side .
