The functionality and performance of the employees depends on the corporate levels of both monetary and non-monetary incentive Non-monetary incentives have however been describe as the most adequate in creating employees motivation which consequently reduces the workplace stress . These are incentives that aim at creating appreciation for the workers at their workplace environment . They bring a feeling of support from the network of the surrounding environment and create caring

conditions for them . Non-monetary incentives may compound employee 's education which may include invitation to picnic functions for the workers families , encouraging strong working breaks , providing lunch at episodes of crunch time and doing other humane activities for the workers that leaves them morally upright and therefore reduces stress factors . Non-monetary incentives have been described as important components which increase the employees ' morale and consequently the general productivity of the organization . Factors like provision of clean bottled water for the employees and creation of maximum time for the workers regeneration have been described as important components in reducing the stress factors for the employees . Non-monetary incentives are basically motivational factors that are created by bringing a notion of appreciation to them within the contemporary workplace . It therefore brings an image of self esteem and appreciation and consequently reducing the levels of stress (Jimmy , 2006

How does employee motivation impact organizational performance

Employee motivation is perhaps the greatest insight for increasing the general corporate performance . Human assets are a key differentiator within the organization which creates incentives for increased performance . Motivation may be described as the cohesive relationship in creating the optimal direction , behavioral persistence of the worker creation of amplitude developing working skills and creating a lucrative environment for understanding the constraints and tasks within the workplace . Employers are therefore oriented to the organizational environment by describing the basic fundamentals objects that are of worth to the employees . Both monetary and non-monetary methods of motivations create the conditions for meeting the financial and social needs of the employee . Intrinsic motivation to the employees is therefore an important tool with which they can appreciate the structures at the working place . They are then absorbed in the forces created by both the financial and social fulfillment of their working needs to creating stronger efforts towards the growth and productivity of the corporation . They have a feeling of ownership of the organization and therefore have the psychological feeling and desire of working in a committed value towards its contemporary development and productivity (Jimmy , 2006
