I have chosen to apply to the University of South Florida (USF ) because I have recognized it to be the respected learning institution that can provide me excellent education and training to prepare me for my chosen field

I plan to pursue a degree in Biology and I wish to be able to take advantage of the student-centered and powerful research environment of USF . Way back

my early Florida High School days when my ardent interest in biology was already emerging , its reputation as a leading and first-tier research university has drawn me to the dream of pursuing higher learning with USF . The University 's numerous research accomplishments , access to grants and affiliation with various research entities , expert and reputable faculty and the corresponding modern and adequate facilities should together lead to the full development of my knowledge and skills in modern biology

Beyond academia and research , the University places appropriate emphasis on the arts and sports development and implements a laudable study abroad program . I believe the USF 's well-rounded curriculum will help enrich all aspects of my being to better equip me to take on the professional challenges in my intended field and in life in general

Pursuing my college degree at USF will undoubtedly provide me multiple benefits in terms of educating me as a student of biology and as a well-rounded individual . It is my hope that I will be given the opportunity to both learn from and contribute to this prestigious institution
