Personal Statement

It has been rightly said that if we are really passionate about something , then we also have the zeal to excel in it . Since my childhood I have been interested in business . Slowly this interest of mine took the shape of passion

The root of this passion is the environment in which I grew up . My father is a successful businessman and just watching him has been a learning experience for me . Without even knowing , I unconsciously imbibed his qualities

To be successful in business it is important to

be abreast of all the aspects of the business . This is possible only when one starts learning from scratch . This is what my father had done . He grew an empire from scratch . If I would have wanted then I could have bagged a managerial position without toiling hard . But I chose the other way . My passion for this field led me to the path where I was getting an opportunity to learn the basics . As a result of it I am working in my college 's Smart shop as a clerical assistant . Had I paid more importance to money than business acumen and knowledge , I would never have been where I am today I think in everything in life , you have to always start from the basic to strengthen your foundation , in to reach to the top . I also think that with a deadly combination of experience , knowledge perseverance and determination , money cannot be far away so why worry about it

Very modestly I would like to mention that I posses qualities like perseverance , determination , motivation , dedication , integrity impartiality , good communication skills , leadership skills , ability to move with the times , optimism , sincerity and deep desire to learn and excel . With these key business skills I am confidant that I too , would be a successful businessman like my father . In a way it can be said that an inherent passion to be successful in business has helped me in honing these skills and making complete use of them in whatever task I take

Though I am aiming to lead a group of individuals , I know that I have to be one amongst them in to understand their point of view . The people one is working with are the most important assets for the business . So I always try to be a people 's person . A leader cannot be a leader until and unless he understands the psyche of the people he is leading . At the Smart shop where I work , I do not only pay attention to my job but also try to grasp the overall work environment . This means I try to gauge facts like whether the employees are happy with the management or not . If yes then why and if not then why is it so . I also study consumer behaviour and reaction . Though all this is not related to my present job , through these observations I am preparing myself for the future
