Stepping in the Gap

Most people that we know have an aversion for numbers . Crunching them down and making sense of volumes upon volumes of accounts and statements will make one quite confused and even winded . For me , I have grown to love those numbers since I was a child being bought to my father 's chemical factory , manufacturing adhesives for renowned sports shoe brands such as Nike , Reebok and Adidas . My father helped me in my passion for economics by faithfully teaching me the rudiments of the science as the business

Determined to learn more about this science of economics and how it affects others , I applied for a summer internship at the prestigious Societe Generale in Hong Kong . Assigned to the Asian Pacific Counterparty Risk Management department of the company , I gained the deductive skills required to be able to contribute significantly to the business of the company . I gained the knowledge to carefully identify the important monetary statistics in the financial reports and income declarations of Asian monetary entities . With these skills in tow , I helped in the development of an improved system for overseeing counterparty credit limits with qualitative data to better avouch the counterparty risk parameters .
