I hope to study at your esteemed university because of my belief that a student needs great mentors and encouraging academic environment in order to unleash his or her potential and talents and be of good use to the society . I believe that studying at your university will be significant in honing my skills and knowledge that will be beneficial to my career development and to my whole future . Satisfaction and contentment can be achieved by setting goals and working hard in attaining them . With these beliefs , I am striving

I am an international student from Singapore . My life in Singapore is very different from my life here in Oxford . Modesty aside , I came from a well-off family and I typically get what I want if I tell my parents When I was in primary school , I was one of the top students because my teachers think that I am smart . From then on , my parents think that I am good in academics and sent me to good schools to study . However , I have many slips and stumbles in life and I admit that , at first , I care very little with my future . I am enjoying my life to the fullest , I guess .
