UC personal statement question

My family and I rushed to the hospital . We got the news that my grandfather was ran over by a drunk driver . When we got there , he was still lying on the stretcher with no doctor or nurse attending to him My heart broke seeing this 70-year old man , dying in a place where his life could have been saved if only there were sufficient doctors to bother checking why his blood pressure was too high . We searched through the hospital hoping to catch a doctor who could check on his condition It

took us sometime before we found one . Yet it was already too late Grandpa was already gone before the doctor could even check on him

Ever since that tragic day in my family 's life , I vowed that I will become a doctor in order to help another person 's grandfather live longer and shed that person 's family from experiencing the tragedy we went through . I may not bring back grandpa 's life by doing this but I can prevent another similar unfortunate incident from taking place Hence , I deem that a degree in Biology will be the first step in achieving this
