A global community is the concept that all people are interconnected and related through their worldwide neighborhood . As a classroom teacher , I participate in a global community by offering my services to others in the form of instruction . People who need to learn various subjects come to me for guidance and support , and I offer educational

experiences to my students . As participants in a global community , I and my students dedicate ourselves day after day to the pursuit of learning as much as we can in a variety of subjects . We make links between what is happening in our communities to situations occurring across the globe We realize that there are no true boundaries between people , and we learn from one another 's cultural similarities and differences . By accessing resources online , we are also linked in to a wide ranging and diverse global network of information , and this huge databank is a tremendous and easily accessible resource for our studies
