Truman and MacArthur
President Truman thought the Korean War proved the viability of the United Nations . General MacArthur on the other hand was efficient but he ignored the intellect of the Red Army of the Chinese build up across the b of North Korea into China . The most important question that Truman asked MacArthur was if he thought China would enter the war . The general being confident replied that the Chinese would not enter the war and it would be over by the end of the year .
