Trimurti (Hindus three major gods)

Long ago , before the universe began , there was god , and his name was Brahma . Brahma , Lord Creator , a beautiful creature settled upon an elegant pink lotus flower , floating throughout a sea of eternal darkness . His delicate feminine like features framed the four faces that sprouted from his neck . Brahma 's four arms held the Vedas , Sruva , Mala and Kamandalu . As Brahma peered out into the darkness , he thought of creating something beautiful , and so he created the universe . He started with the cosmic waters , and as the waters settled , he laid his

scepter inside the deepest portion of the cosmic waters and began to stir it . As the waters began to circle , they produced typhoons as big as the universe itself . The typhoons then transformed into a cloud of water and energy until it exploded with immeasurable fury . The explosion was so massive that the sound and debris did not settle for over 100 years . After the sound dissipated , Brahma then created the world and then from his wife , humanity soon followed . At the end of creation , Brahma still was not satisfied . Brahma then decided to plant a seed so that it would grow . Brahma let the seed settle for 1 ,000 years . After that time , the seed had turned into a golden egg . Once the egg opened , Brahma appeared from the egg , only reincarnated as his younger self . The story of creation marks the beginning of the world with Brahma , Lord of creation , and the existence of everything that stands today
