Qualifying Fish Evolution : The Classic Creationism or the Tetrapod Link

I Introduction

Ichtyology as a branch of science that deals primarily with the study of fishes ( aquatic vertebrates ) and an important concept that is associated with the study is evolutionary history or the careful dissection of its past evolutionary forms and related families

Fishes are non-tetrapod chordates that are aquatic-dwellers whose general physiological forms are characterized by presence of fins and ectothermy . Currently , the predominant and probable evolution for fish is the Echinoderm-Chordate

line . Fish-y evolution is the subject of skepticism in evolutionary biology , primarily because fishes do not have clarified fossil records and because of the presence of opposing forces whose ideology clashes with that of the evolutionary scheme . Theories of evolution of history of fishes into modern-day amphibians clash because the founding principle is basically different as in the classic Creationism ideology when God created the different life form in a seven day period or the Darwinian concept of Adaptation and Natural Selection Today , as scientists further explore the origin of different living things , the creationism theory is largely unacceptable in the scientific community . Moreover , the Darwinian concept of Adaptation and Natural Selection fueled scientists , archeologists and evolutionary enthusiasts into a new quest for finding fossilized evidences . At present , Darwin 's theories prove too strong to be unnoticed as it has been backed up by a lot of discoveries not only in amphibians and fishes but also in the evolution of men

The aim of the is to clarify and weigh the basic premise on the two theories on the ichty-evolution to tetrapod life forms and make a conclusion as to which theory is more plausible . Consequence to this there is an investigation on the `tetrapod link ' or the walking fish (as some may call it ) and dissect if the presence of evidences , or the lack of it , support with that of the conclusion . The will not focus on the ancestry of fish , but rather on the transition of fishes into its amphibian life forms

III . Transition Theory

To prove that the concept of evolution is a working theory , there should be continuity or the presence of transitory creatures between different life forms and that this transitory organism reflect gradual adaptation in terms of physio-biological structures . Transitory organisms require the investigation of evidentiary fossils and ultimately , their connection with the other life forms . At present there is still no evidence about the transition theory of amphibians and fishes and fossilized evidence which is half amphibian and half fish is still undiscovered . Such studies are under the scope of paleontology geology and geochronology

Amphibians and fishes emerged on the surface of the Earth unobserved and with no predecessors . Evolutionary scientists cannot clarify the source of these living things . Evolutionary scientists believed that the fishes that appeared in the Cambrian stratum by some means evolved into an amphibian over hundreds of millions of years ago . On the other hand there was not a single...
