Training and Organizational Development
Everyone within the organization should have a degree of responsibility for training and development . At board level there should be sufficient expertise and knowledge to be able to create a realistic training policy to link corporate strategy with its achievement through those who have to implement it . At the other end of the spectrum is the individual who is learning rapidly that he or she must take responsibility for his or her own career development , and pursue the concept of Lifelong Learning and the practice of Continuing Professional Development . At all points

whatever the organizational structure is , there are others who can be regarded in some way as `trainers (Buckley , R . 2004 ) Training becomes the most essential tool that could be offered to all employees in any given company , whether it 's a multi national company or a medium sized organization . Training need not to be expensive , rather it should be well executed and efficient for both employees and employers . Thus training develops the effective to the company
Though there are steps to be followed in training in to achieve the desired outcome . As a new employee and letting someone instruct you on your daily job responsibilities could help in a little way but would not be successful somehow . A minimal of 1 week could help the new employee see how her daily routine would be , but beyond that would show that she is not independent and couldn 't work without a minimum supervision . First and foremost , job responsibilities were further explained during the interviews and of course during orientations . Upon getting to the actual job , questions or clarifications about his activities could be addressed to her superiors
Traditional on-the-job training is focused on the work . The instructor 's primary mission is to complete the work at hand . The training is secondary , and little , if any , allowance is made for the presence of a trainee on the job (Sisson , 2001 ) This kind of training method would affect Danielle 's ' work at the same time . Why ? Instead of focusing on her work , she needed to train ' Dawn on her job . It is best to instruct Dawn first thing in the morning what 's needed to accomplish on that day . This could be beneficial for the two of them , especially which they can focus on their own tasks
Their supervisor could be assured that Dawn received proper training if things would be discussed between Dawn and Danielle , they should set limitations and for Dawn 's side , she should initiate whether to help on things and she should study on how things work in their company so that she would not The training itself is unstructured and relies on the flow of work for its sequence . If tasks occur out of , so does the training . If a random event happens in the middle of a step-by-step procedure , the instructor interrupts the sequence to deal with it .
