Once a man stated that a single religion is represented in numerous versions in the world . So , maybe Hinduism , Buddhism , Judaism , Islam Christianity and others show different ways to the same destination However , people still argue about the true religion , avoid cooperation and widen the gap between them . The core factor that differentiates Judaism and Christianity from other religions lies in the fact that the rest weave human science , philosophies , cultures and knowledge instead of the Divine Revelation and Wisdom that was revealed to

God 's chosen ones and experienced by them

Differences between Judaism , Christianity and other religions

Beliefs and practices , intolerance and ethnocentricity of other religions , except Judaism and Christianity caused misunderstanding , hate and bloodshed time and again . Comparing to God , people are so limited that can comprehend only the pieces of truth and are not able to prove the truth of one religion and false of the other one (Johnson , 1997 However , each religion has ethical codes that can be found in others (e .g . the Golden Rule , and it is clear that Judaism , Taoism , or Islam have doctrines , beliefs and practices that convert the followers to new creatures with transformed lives

Nevertheless , an ancient Greek philosophy had made many people doubt their gods , whose strange activities began to fade into myth and legend . The Roman gods came into disgrace and many officials of the Empire continued to encourage religion only because such belief served to veil revolt among the lay people . The Roman state religion was clearly a political affair that offered no peace of mind to a disturbed soul . All this left a moral vacuum that signed no good for the world

Under these conditions the Old Testament , along with the message of peace and pardon from sins was a fresh breath of wind in the ancient world that was divided by myths , legends , philosophies , limitations and terror . The key points that differentiated Judaism and Christianity from other religions are as follows

- God is not a force or Reason that is not related to physical world - He is a loving Father , who offered relationship , forgiveness and eternal life to His creation

- Jesus Christ is 100 percent God (otherwise His sacrifice would not be sufficient to pay the debt we owned ) and 100 percent man (otherwise He could not die , who revealed God 's nature and showed how to live a sinless life

- God showed the refuge from everyday problems and sins , we were born with

- Jesus , as the only perfect man , was able to pay the price for the punishment we deserved

- God 's grace and all we get from Him is free and cannot be earned by good deeds and conscience , limitations and sacrifices

- Jesus knows the sufferings , problems , temptations , for He went through them thus , we may ask Him to help us , trust in His promises and receive every good gift that comes from above , because it already belongs...
