Many assumptions have been formed to fully explain the creation story within the first book of the Bible . Even before the evolution theory has been formulated , Genesis already provided a narrative account of origin of the world and most importantly , of the first human . One of these assumptions is the fact that God created the heaven and earth out of nothing portrayed His omnipotence and his power above all things Perhaps this can be considered as the most essential of them all . currently has and from the account of the creation , it can be seen that this can only be made possible by the power of God . Thus , his power is more evident when he created the universe out of the darkness which originally surrounds it
