It is apparent that every member of the working team brings different skills , perspectives and interests . Therefore it is necessary for co-workers to be well informed , to have a sense of ownerships and to feel included into working process . Team efforts share decision making power and responsibility . Retention strategy is understanding what drives employees away and keeping them around . Retention strategy allows employees to develop additional job skills , makes work meaningful , fun and challenging improves employee morale , pays competitive wages up to a limit . One more advantage is that retention strategy provides rewards for employees for their performances and efforts . The next positive moment is heading off potential problems at the pass . But there are also certain disadvantages , because employees in some case starts considering themselves superior and think they are allowed everything . The effective way to build commitment and confidence of the team is positive reinforcement . One more positive moment is praising the person 's recent accomplishment . The negative moment is providing company with technologies required for sending e-mail messages .
