A team is a group of individuals who work together to achieve a common goal . This achievement however , depends on effective and clear team communication . Conveying of ideas and sharing of knowledge is very important when individuals have to work together and depend on each other . First and foremost concern is that everyone in a team must be aware of his role and the goal his team wants to achieve . Any issues and enquiries need to be negotiated

before work can begin . Participation of every team member in making decisions and taking risks is essential Every member must be informed of every progress that is going on in the work project . A member who is not knowledgeable of every step and action his team takes may not feel focused or inspired to work in the group . He may feel left out and discouraged . So it is very important for every team member to communicate well and share their ideas . Otherwise some may feel choked and not participate actively in the progress of the team . Also it is important that every team member is clear about his participation in the team so that he works in that direction with focus and dedication and shares the pride of his work with others . Open communication among team members gives a sense of faith and dependency on each other . Any member may have a difference of opinion on any issue and may not agree with others . Clear- Every direction and instruction must be clear with every team member so that each one of them understands the collective goal they are working towards to achieve

Straightforward and detailed- Information must be straightforward and in detail so that there is no confusion of any kind

Reliable- Information must be reliable and dependable so that there is no dis and chaos at the last moment

Objective and to the point- Information must be to the point without any unnecessary detailing and stretching . Instructions must be lucid and easy to follow

Feedback- Feedback and healthy criticism is very important for the team to keep going in the right direction . Some members may not agree with decisions and steps team takes and must discuss their viewpoints Disagreements and their clear expression and consideration by every team member may save team as a whole from taking any wrong judgment .
