Taxation offers the most viable solution to rebating carbon dioxide emission especially in the developed countries . The most common forms of tax are energy tax , carbon or emission caps . Most of the methods involve burning of the fossil fuels that release a lot of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere By taxing the high

energies that are produced by burning fossil fuels the companies will seek other friendlier means of energy production that are friendlier to the environment like electricity , wind or solar energy . When it comes to building , high tax has to be imposed on all materials that are from the forest like wood poles and timber in for people to be innovative and come up with other materials that can replace wood as the raw material . The negative aspect of these taxes is that they are going to impact negatively on the economic but the benefits gotten are going to be enjoyed in the future by saving the environment and climate for future generations (David , Adribn James 1999
