making about curriculum and instruction . Daily review is mandatory so as to identify expected accomplishments , to state the requirements of each accomplishment , to let the student know how performance will be measured and why , to provide frequent and unequivocal feedback about how each pupil is performing , to underline the consequences of good and poor performance . Daily review effectively helps to identify exemplary students and helps allocate available resources that can help people to become exemplary performers . Such review encourages students who need to troubleshoot their own performances and relates various aspects of poor performance to specific remedial actions . Pre-requisite checks such as assessment of student learning provide the learners with explicit instructional exposure and help them understand where they lie on the continuum towards achievement (Lamb , 2007 ) However , on a personal note I believe that mind mapping is a very effective method of teaching as it is scientific and can evaluate a student perfectly .
