As A Writer

Writing has always been people 's way of giving people an insight of their feelings . I , for one , have also done the same thing . I would write journals expressing the feelings and emotions that I may have for a particular time , place , person , and situation . I believe that writing in its own little way , helps people to actually release the heartaches and stress that may over power their

lives . For this , I have convinced myself that being equipped with the different techniques in English writing can help me become a good and efficient writer

I started to give importance to my English classes when I was in High School . I was still in Saudi Arabia , at that time , where English was only the secondary language after Arabic . Soon after , I practiced and personified the different methods and techniques that I learned in the said class

To further enhance my knowledge and skills , I enrolled myself in the English Language Programme (ELP ) in my university . The classes lasted for 1 year and 6 months . I statreted from the pre-intermediate level and continued on until I reached the advance level . From there on , I was able to use the methods taught in the said lessons in my professional and academic life . Most importantly , my writing skills were further honed , making it easier for me to actually express myself in writing

My experiences as a writer may not be as impressive as the others who have had numerous published works . Even with English as my second language , I was able to show the world that I have what it takes to be a writer . I am able to show the world my views and insights about life and the events that happen in my daily life , through my writings . With the knowledge that I have learned through the many months of studying English , I am now more equipped of the technicalities that should be taken into consideration when writing

Aside from the professional education I have hired to enhance my English skills , I have something that others do not have . I am a writer who does not only write for the satisfaction of others nor do I write to criticize others . I write strictly from the heart , where my journals are a mere reflection of my ideas and feelings in life .As A Writer PAGE 3...
