Tale of Tw oCities
Charles Dickens set off his controversial book , A Tale of Two Cities with a touch on the authenticity of existence of the plight of the French Revolution under the tyranny of French aristocrats . Unlike his other novels , A Tale of Two Cities was published on a weekly basis in which the first part came out in the first issue of All the Year Round on April 30 , 1859 . The novel is a romantic take on human emotions backed with the theme of liberalism /activisim . The plot revolves around the the three main characters

namely : Charles , Lucie and Sydney . The young Lucie Manette who , through the help of an agent named Jarvis Lorry , moves all the way from London to Paris to look for her father . Lucie 's father was held in jail for 18 years in Bastille but is recently kept back in the wine store of Mme .and M . Defarge until the time that everything will be safe for him to get back to England
Wayback in England , Lucie tied with Charles Darnay , the nephew of a French aristocrat , murdered by some French revolutionists . They married and had a child . Amidst the revolution period , Charles comes back to Paris to help an old family servant from imprisonment . Sadly , Charles is apprehended and brought to the court for trial . Charles is criticized by Defarges and is accused for the crimes committed by his family against the communty
Meanwhile , Sydney Carton , a close family friend , moves to help and save Charles...
