Most explosive attacks whether initiated by terrorists or criminal gangs usually involve meticulous preparation and planning and constitute scenes of massive destruction . Experts claim that the attack planning usually involves a cycle of six stages that include : selection of the target , careful planning , deployment of the attack executors , the attack execution , which is subsequently followed by escape and exploitation .
