The world of communication is quite large and every day new discoveries and inventions are being made to make it better and easy . To interact and to communicate with each other , people use the

telephone network internet , wireless communications and transportation networks . A combination of different progressions makes up this field of networking in which two of the process include the use of network switching and routing

A networking switch is a PC networking mechanism which links communication and networking sections . Usually the second layer of OSI standard which is data link layer is referred to switches , while the procedure of deciding paths in a system so that network passage can be send at that respective path with out problems is called routing

This article would give some brief explanation about both of these terms

A network switch is a gadget that administers the sharing of numerous computers or networks on a similar data connection . Network switch is also known as Network Bridge , which actually is device in charge of routing and dispensing data inside the open systems interconnection representation .
