The Situation

Mrs . Case , 73 years old , female , was rushed to the hospital after collapsing a couple of hours ago and hit her head against a coffee table . She claimed she felt fine though she admits feeling a slight headache . But after she began showing symptoms of visual disturbances severe headache , dizziness and paralysis on her left side , her daughter immediately took her to the hospital . It was later revealed that Mrs Case has a history of hypertension and was previously

hospitalized six months ago for Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs . She has been on Plavix (clopidogrel ) 75mg daily since that time and her hypertension is controlled with Lotensin (benazepril ) 20mg daily . Further examinations showed there is a small hematoma on Mrs . Case 's right temple . She is lethargic but opens her eyes when her name is called . Her right pupil is larger than her left pupil . Her admitting diagnosis is a possible stroke
