This paper deal with the investigation of effect of stress to the cardiovascular system of the body

Psychological stress has the property to activate the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal system (HPA ) of the

brain . The physiological system of the body is comprised of the cardiovascular which serve as the central

system , gastrointestinal , immunological , dermatological and respiratory Through the HPA axis , the

different physiological systems as commanded by amygdala produce

hormones to counteract the

detrimental effect of stress thus ensuring excellent physical and mental health . Differential coping

capacity of each individual to stress result to differences in personalities and differences in illness as a

result of hormonal imbalance . This equates to differences in over-all health and well being among the

population
