This talks about street racing , particularly the illegal street racing . Street racing poses a serious threat to life and limb . This enumerates these different threats , including deaths caused by car crashes , as well as serious injuries once the high speed car hits a wall or another moving vehicle in the street . In the article are several accounts from credible sources about the statistics and death toll in United States

as well as in different parts of the world involved in street racing , particularly the deaths of innocent civilians who are not involved in the street racing but are commonly victimized by this particular hobby of a select group of individuals . Because racing is inherent to human nature , the law enforcement units designed to combat this particular problem are using two particular approaches the strict approach , in hope that messing with the law enforcement agents and suffering the fines and the penalties are enough to deterrent for someone to stop racing anymore and the other approach , which included the legitimizing of street racing by having government officials look design and designate places which can be transformed into legitimate and legal street racing venues .
