In the recent past , most of the companies have gone global thus increasing global competition . Globalization has necessitated formulation of strategies aimed

at helping companies to remain productive , relevant and competitive . Companies employ different competitive strategies to ensure that they gain a competitive edge in the international markets . One of the major strategies adopted by multinational companies is the uniform global strategy . Under this strategy , a company follows a standardized approach throughout its trading activities .
