Paper Topic:

Strategic Talent Management and Development Audit and Strategy Proposal

(The Home Depot , they find that there is no time to do anything else more sensible than just to go home

The Home Depot can adopt a strategy of employees having training while in their working hours and then challenging them to do what they love best by redesigning their job 's roles to be able to tap into their individual talents . They can then be given the same job but having more responsibilities and more income on their pay slips

Another thing that can be done is having the organization meet their

br individual needs for example by using the Maslow 's Need theory and identify their physiological , security , esteem , affiliation and assisting them to have self actualization . This will in return have them retained in their jobs for a long time . When they know that their needs are being met by having job security and having an opportunity to realize and work towards their dreams , then the employees tend to own the organization which in return helps them to achieve the organization 's set goals

Conclusion

In conclusion , it is evident that if the employees are dissatisfied with the work they are doing , either by having their talents not being properly utilized or by their not being able to achieve their talent actualization goals , then the employees tend to look for a job in other places where they think they will have the opportunity to develop their talents . Loosing a well trained member of staff is a very costly thing and the organization cannot afford to lose their employees . A little investment and a change of their training and job policies will go along way in making the organization a better place
