For this dissertation the working title of the project is Assessment of the Strategy used by a Banking industry to stay competitive despite of the Financial Crisis Background of the Study The context of strategic management is an approach of specifying the objectives of the industries , policy and planning development to attain these objectives , and strategic allocation of resources in to execute the plans . Each industry is entitled to choose the most suitable strategic management system approach or the so called strategic choice Accordingly , the strategy chosen by the management is guiding an industry relative to opportunities and challenges appearing in the business environment (Pearce Robinson , 2000 . The strategic choice of each and every industry is responsible for maintaining the strength as well as the survival in the challenging environment and in times of financial crisis .
