Running head Mission , Vision and Values Veronica Russell Background of the Health Organization Jackson Memorial Hospital is an accredited non-profit tertiary care hospital and major teaching facility . Jackson Health System operates and consist of 12 primary care centers , multiple school based clinics serving many schools , elementary , middle and high schools , several long term nursing facilities , and corrections along with the main emergency room that is often utilized as a clinic often because our patients are not as informed or educated as needed . Because of these , there are several patient-personnel

issues that arose during the actual operations of the organization
Personal Background
I have been employed at Jackson Memorial in excess of 25 years in various departments and various classifications , Supervisor Administrator , Benefit Coordinator , Risk Management and Legal Liaison Assessor , Patient Edibility and Physician Provider Enrollment coordinator . Within the years I have learned and experienced many situations that our patients and the organization can benefit from And from these particular learning , I have formed an understanding within myself that certain changes are necessary of happening for the sake of continuous improvement within the system of our organizations and its clients as well
Mission and Vision
The Hospital mission is to provide a signal high standard of quality and service regardless of the patient 's ability to pay : To fulfill the mission Jackson focus on delivering a full range of care from prevention to the most advance treatment of the sick and critically injured Jackson often focuses on the vulnerable members in our community including the uninsured and others with extensive unmet health care needs . Considering the intense diversity of within the organization and many of our patients primary language not English , often our clients /patients are at a disadvantage when translation is needed in the past in the emergency room translation and impact life or death decisions the current practice is to contact the translator department Also out dated , complicated computer system impacted the hospital
Rendering health care with kindness and respect for patients with diverse back grounds and providing dignity and privacy is very important . Using resources and the most appropriate and cost effect manner while promoting a nurturing and professional environment at work Lack of proper communications with JMH has caused the organization to have suffered financially in the industry . This is primarily because of the lack of bilingual staff that is able to handle communications with the clients at the best possible procedure Understandably though , the situation has not been able to get a controlled by the authorities of the organization because of the said shortcoming on the part of personnel training for the sake of better service provision to the clients . During the past years of health operations , the organization of JMH actually faced different levels of issues that included technological problems with outdated computers personnel issues such as unsatisfactory service from the authorities of the organization to the employees which likely lowered the level of performance of the employees , also issues on language and communicability with...
