Stem Cells
Running head : EMBRYONIC AND ADULT STEM CELLS STEM CELLS NAME OF STUDENT NAME OF UNIVERSITY LECTURER COURSE DATE DUE ABSTRACT There have been many researches done on the stem cells both the embryonic and the adult stem cells . The embryonic cell study is giving many important advantages to the human being generation in the medical field . The knowledge of the stem cells will in the future be a stepping-stone from the many maladies that we experience in the world today . Though it is a good thing to

do the research there are many ethical issues that need to be addressed by the scientists . Therefore the laws set up need to evaluate the effects of the embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells as they help in the assistance of elevating pain in people
STEM CELLS
Introduction
Human beings begin from the stem cells . Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that in the end develop into any of the more than 200 types of cell the adult human body holds . The cellular elements of the body are
Erythrocytes this are the red blood cells use for transport of oxygen and nutrients in the body , they live for 3 to 4 months after which they are taken up at the liver and spleen
Platelets which help in the prevention of unwanted organisms from entering any part of the body that is injured , and
Leukocytes help in the phagocytosis of the invaders of the body
The cellular elements do wear out regularly as a person grows . The leukocytes , platelets and erythrocytes all develop from a single population of pluripotent stem cells . The pluripotent cells have the capability of differentiating into any cell that produces platelets or into blood cells
The stem cells are of great study in the world du to their nature of presentation , they differ from many cells that the body has . The difference does come from their capability to divide and renew themselves for long periods , they are unspecialized , and they are capable to give rise to specialized cell types . This is due to the fact that the embryonic cells do proliferate for a year whereas the adult stem cells cannot and also what makes it possible in living organisms for the stem cells to regulate their proliferation and self renewal (http /stemcells .nih .gov /info /basics /basics2 .asp . WHAT IS A STEM CELLS
These are cells that are immature found in the embryo and are capable to differentiate into any kind of specialized cells . This kind of stem cells are called pluripotent cells whereas there are stem cells that are already mature and are found in children and adults called multipotent cells they are not capable of developing into any cells as they have already matured into specialized cells (http /cseserv .engr .scu .edu /StudentAccounts /ENGR019Winter2002 /LLam /Rese arch .html . Embryonic stem cells
They are derived from embryos that develop from eggs that are already fertilized in vitro . This is not inside...
