Stem cell research is process the involve the scientist in undertaking investigation using the cell based therapies in focus to treat diseases where stem cells imply the kind of cells in either animals or human beings which are able to develop into various cell types in the body and can be perceived as a from of repairing system for the body . The self renewal nature of the Embryonic stem cells makes them appropriate in undertaking research on the effects of drugs and toxins on animals and human bodies , because of their ability to form any party of the body , which gives a deductive result that imply that ,if the stem cell respond in certain ways towards a certain drug then , then the whole body will respond exactly like the stem cells ,because the rest of the body just develops from stem cells . They also establish on the effect of drugs and toxins on the body during the earl development of the human being , that enables them to come out with issues related to the most sufficient content for drugs given different age groups . The Uncontrolled growth nature of the stem cells also enables them to be sufficient in the development of tumors known as teratomas , which can not be used in cell-based therapies , although research is moving to the direction of regulating the Embryonic Stem cell in a more efficient manner . The embryonic stem cells are to an adult stem cells because the adult stem cells are limited to cell types , that is , there are organs that have full developed and as such they don 't need to be formed anymore but rather repair and only if need arise , and is due to the multi potent nature of the adult stem cells , therefore research based in using Embryonic cells is more satisfying that that of adult stem cells .
