The Unit 2 Individual Project sought to study a sample of employees from a particular company in to determine employee satisfaction and from this make recommendations on how the administration can improve its hiring and other human resources practices . The instrument used which was a questionnaire was administered to employees that volunteered for the study and this consisted of 29 employees in all Based on the results from the administered questionnaire , there are several applications of the study that can be derived for practical use The first application is the findings that

males were just as satisfied with their jobs in the company as females . This means that the company is proving itself to have no overt signs of gender discrimination and that their current policies are enough in as far as proving equality among males and females is concerned . Therefore , proposed human resources projects aimed only at a particular gender of employees should be rethought to apply for both genders or aborted completely since focusing on just one gender would not improve overall satisfaction and may just cause the other employees of the other gender to complain . One particular element with regard to gender that might be worth considering based on the study 's results is the current trend of new hires being mostly men .
