Statement of Purpose for Cornell University , Program in Real Estate

I hereby submit my application for a vacancy to join real estate program in your reputable institution . I have a strong interest in the field of real estate and I feel that should you give me an opportunity to learn more in this field I will be very grateful for your support since I will achieve my childhood dream of becoming the most famous and successful real estate expert in the world

I am fully aware that real estate program is very inclusive

, particular flexible and it also apply to the real world thus making me want to understand this concept in to apply it in future . Real estate program will give me an opportunity to understand the area of real estate in a wider perspective i .e . from the point of views of a developer , owner , shareholder , sponsor , operator , and the client . It will also provide me with clear understanding of real estate as a discipline with various backgrounds that include architecture , expansion of real estate , building management , financial management , investment regulations , business and asset management , that are relevant in the real estate sector . Further based on those who have already undertaken this real estate program earlier , I will also be a result-oriented professional with excellent educational skills that will provide me with good leadership qualities that I can successfully apply to the whole real estate sector . My role model and supporter to join the real estate program is my father Jongkwan Lee who is a successful businessman and currently running his own business in construction and who was an executive of the LG construction company which is reported to be one of the biggest companies in South Korea . He has been in a position of connecting me to a number of specialties with an ambition of developing my international competitiveness

As a result of this I therefore prefer real estate program since I can use the knowledge acquired to aid in improving the real estate industry in Korea which is at near stand still as a result of geographical and economical situation which is an effect of high population growth rate in the country . In Korea , most colleges and universities do not offer professional real estate program thus I cannot better my four year work experience in Construction Company and financial knowledge gained from Indiana University

It will also be beneficial for me to undertake real estate program as it will enable me to build my career as a result of an understanding of the real estate industry thus become an opening in my life as a real estate professional . Further , with such knowledge in real estate management , I will be in a good position of building my career . Real estate curriculum will assist me to achieve an inclusive perceptive of real estate concept , develop an area of expertise in depth in real estate industry and attain precious work know-how that will ultimately assist me in building...
