Statement of Purpose

My MBA program at UNCC

Like most other progressive people I too have my own hobbies and interests , which have grown up with me . Grown with me because my passion and attachment to these are more now , than ever before . On quite a number of occasions , I had listed my extracurricular activities and interests as involvement in voluntary work and a passion for numbers in response to many queries . Unfortunately , of these responses would reveal how much I actually enjoy working with numbers . I sometimes have a feeling that my pursued childhood

fancy with numbers might have played a crucial role in the development of my interest in finance . I always believe that one develops a passion towards something only when one finds joy and satisfaction in possessing or experiencing it . There is always an urge to constantly seek or indulge in it

My passion for numbers and logical calculations had been with me right from my school days . I remember well those days when my dad would scream at me for asking more fruits or chocolates when I already had some with me . But then he would be moved when I emphasize my requirements with my needs , based on finger counting . I would also scribble my name and that of my friends , against which I would write the number of toffees required . Adding , subtracting or multiplying the numbers I would project the arrived figure . I loved working on math problems and was particularly inquisitive when I got it...
