The standards play a major role in determining the level of education , achievement and capability of a student . One of the most recognized standardized tests is the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT . This high school-level test screens students for the university that they would like to apply to , as well as provides both students and educators their capacity for higher learning Other standardized tests have also been established for grade and high school level assessments
