Joseph Stalin was born around the 1878 in Georgia , and was of Georgian origin . He was born in a family that was experiencing financial difficulties , and also in a community that faced several accounts of war crimes as well as street brawls . During his childhood he was faced with serious accounts of diseases as well as an accident , which permanently damaged one of his arms and also his physical appearance . He was taken to school under scholarship by the Orthodox Church in Russia . He later on Stalin rebelled from school complaining of being forced to speak in Russian a language , which he did not so much like to converse in and as a result he was expelled from school , when he did not manage to pay for his fees .
