Southwest Airlines has been one of the successful airline companies around the globe . Moreover , this airline company was considered as the largest airline since 2007 in the United States in terms of the number of passengers that they carried every year and in terms of the number of passengers carried per year internationally . Compared to other airline companies in the market , Southwest Airlines is deemed to be an American Low-Fare Airline located in Texas . One thing that makes Southwest

br Airlines different from other airline companies would be fact that this company does not only caters to commercial services but also offers cargo transport services . This only means that Southwest Airlines offers other services that the conventional services that other airline companies has been offering for the past years . Moreover , Southwest Airlines is known for using Point to Point ' routing system instead of the traditional Hub and Spoke ' system wherein all airlines passes through a central hub and moves along spokes (mba .tuck .dartmouth .edu 2002 , see appendix . The said Point to Point ' routing system of Southwest Airlines made it more different from other major airline companies in the market . In addition to this , Southwest Airlines has been able to operate efficiently and effectively through the said routing system

Actually , it is not only the passengers who sees Southwest Airlines as one of the better airline companies in the airline industry , even workers and employees finds it satisfying working in the said company due to its friendly policies and puts premium on every efforts of the workers and employees . In short , Southwest Airlines is a good place for employment and if I will be asked , I want to work to Southwest Airlines since there are a lot of great career opportunities there aside from the good employment terms of the company . I have heard that the company offers trainings and seminars to their employees to improve their skills and never as much as possible lay-off workers on their jobs since the management of Southwest Airlines recognizes that employees plays a vital role on their success
