These two fine men were both romantics and have high hopes to be with their loved ones however , Dick is jollier in delivering his letters despite of the difficulty that their jobs entail . Private Wilbur Fisk Peeler , Company H , 3rd Florida Infantry wrote in his letters and described the battlefields as the wilderness of woe in the book entitled Hard Marching Everyday
In every letters that these soldiers wrote one distinct quality that every letter conveys is to take one 's dedication affirmatively and those positive attitudes help them to become truly good soldiers . All of them are heroes but what makes them great is their practice of unity a brotherhood they call camaraderie that can only be experienced in the battlefields
