Software Development stakeholders In a software development project the stakeholders would be the ones who are directly or indirectly related to the project from its concept development stage to final delivery and maintenance of the system

The following are the stakeholders

Client : The client is the biggest stakeholder of the system as their requirements must be communicated appropriately to the system development team to map the software accordingly

Investors : The investors put their money on the project and decide their profitability for the project and would make

the major bulk of system development costs to even out

Project manager : The project manager in the software development team is highly responsible for overseeing the tasks and to get the development done within appropriate time and using the resources (Hoffer , 2002

Software engineer : The software engineer is responsible for understanding the requirements clearly and to make sure that all the system requirements are implemented well

Suppliers and manufacturers : They form an essential component and should not be looked over . Their timely efforts to supply and manufacture the right components make the development environment quite justifiable for proceeding with the timeframe of the project which also in turns reduces cost

Hardware engineers : They are responsible for making the system to function correctly on the computers . The system must match the hardware requirements and these engineers are quite apt at doing so

Database engineers : The database engineers are responsible for mapping the database requirements of the systems so that organization data is stored , retrieved and managed well

The various situations for fetching the right use of resources , time and effort is made sure that all the stakeholders would perform their work appropriately and make the system development occur well
