Negatively Related Variables
Body weight and physical health are negatively related variables . Body weight as measured by their body mass index taken from their weight and height and categorized into normal , overweight and obese . Physical health is measured in terms of how healthy the individual is based on the number of the illnesses and diseases that the individual has at the present time . Body weight is negatively related to physical health because as body weight increases , physical health decreases . Being obese and overweight had been associated with the presence of diseases such as hypertension and diabetes which lessens the physical health of the person
