Sociology Final Exam
Sociology 1101 Final Exams If I were Frankie , I would not help Maggie end her life . Given her background that she came from a financially-challenged , dysfunctional loser family , it would not be a surprise that she would think of ending her life when she was paralyzed during her biggest boxing match . It seems that boxing for her , was more that just an activity , but an avenue in which she thought would be able to make a difference in her life What had happened to her , was not just a simple lost in the

match but a lost of opportunity in life . She entered boxing in the hope that it could make a difference in her miserable life , but unfortunately , she did not achieve what she wanted . Worse , her life became more miserable because of her paralysis . The series of misfortunes in her life would actually lead her to think that she would no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel . And if she is rehabilitated , she could find programs that could give her livelihood
Maggie just needs some reassurance that she could still improve her life despite the series of misfortunes . She needs someone to do the rational thinking for her since her mind is already clouded with too much emotion
