Introduction

From a sociological perspective , conflict theory can be defined as a social theory which recognizes person 's or group 's ability to exercise influence and control over others , and in so doing affecting social . It contends that individuals and groups are constantly struggling to maximize their benefits , inevitably contributing to the social changes such as innovations in politics and absolute upheavals . As the name implies , conflict theory dwells on the examination of class conflicts among members of a given society , such conflicts are between the wealthy (bourgeoisie

On the other hand a society is made up of humans or other organisms of a single species that is characterized by the limits of cultural identity , social solidarity , or functional interdependence . A human society is defined by intertwined patterns of relationships between individuals that share a distinctive culture or institutions that enable members to fulfill their wishes and needs that otherwise could not be fulfilled by the members on their on without the very existence of a social group .
